A reminder that you have been enrolled in Future Ready Orientation on MyCanvas. Orientation and the Future Ready Toolkit are great resources to prepare you for learning and life at Mohawk.


Below is a list of student services we recommend you check out as you start your term.

Set up your tech

 

Student have access to Tech support, equipment rentals, MohawkAPPS and online resources and sessions to help navigate your new virtual learning environment. Sign up for an online session or check out the digital resources.

What the library can do for you!

 

Need help with your upcoming paper or help with setting up your Microsoft office 365 account? Check out the Mohawk Library for resource guides and tech support to get started.

Access Financial Assistance

 

Learn about the available Awards, Scholarships and Bursaries. Visit our Frequently Asked Financial Assistance Questions for more information about OSAP and Awards. For supports with budgets and all things financial literacy check out our Mo’Money Resources.

Meet your Success Advisor

 

Your Student Success Advisor can help you navigate program related questions, create your academic completion plan and connect you with resources to ensure you successfully complete your program.

Need to make changes to your student health and dental plan?

 

You are automatically enrolled in the MSA’s extended health and dental coverage plan, which is designed to fill the gaps in provincial and other basic health-care programs. You have the option of opting out for a refund (if you already have extended coverage) OR adding your family. This change of coverage must be done between September 9-25 for the Fall term. Support for International students

 

Mohawk International offers a full set of services designed to help ensure international students have the support they need as they begin their education journey with us.

Support for First Nations, Metis and Inuit learners

 

Be sure to check out the Indigenous Education and Student Services site for information about supports and activities available to you.

Upcoming event: On September 30, wear orange in support of bringing awareness to Residential Schools, their legacy, and Survivors. Join guest speaker Phyllis Webstad the founder of Orange Shirt Day on September 29 to learn her story and how you can support this important day.
