Welcome Back

Summer vacation has come to an end, and it’s time to start hitting the books again.

Welcome back to Mohawk! Due to COVID-19, the College and the MSA may look and feel different this year but you don’t have to navigate the new normal alone.

You can still (virtually) lean on the MSA as your built-in best friend on campus, here’s how:

Services:

The MSA continues to offer several services to aid you throughout your college career. We offer services that assist students both on and off-campus – such as equipment loans, a food bank, a career closet, and health and dental insurance.

Advocacy:

Whether it be through initiatives such as ‘Post-Secondary Affordability’, ‘Student Representative Committees’, or ‘Advocacy Priorities’, the MSA strives to advocate for all students. The MSA works to ensure your voices are being heard on all levels – within Mohawk College, and the Hamilton community. The MSA assures students are regularly kept up-to-date with what the Association has and is working on.

Currently, the MSA Board of Directors is looking for students to join their Student Representative Committees.

Events:

Making new friends on campus can be hard…but it doesn’t have to be! Whether you’re looking to make some new life-long friends or make some new memories with friends you’ve already made, a (virtual) MSA event is the spot to be. The MSA Events team runs events throughout the year for all Mohawk College students to ensure they are getting the most out of their college experience.
