Check out what's happening at the Gibsons Library this month.

Summer is here and the library doors are open for you. Come inside to enjoy the cool air and calm atmosphere. There are hundreds of new books on the shelves to enjoy, and dozens of youth programs to sign up for.

We are especially pleased to be hosting Jillian Christmas this month for a two-day 'Speak your Truth, Find your Power' workshop and performance for young adults. Jillian is a dynamic and very inspiring person. If you are interested in poetry, rap, spoken word, performing or just have something to say, don't miss this amazing opportunity to learn from her.

Lastly, Summer Reading Logs and Challenge Pamphlets are now available. Drop by the library anytime to get yours while they last. They encourage kids to read every day of the summer for a chance to earn a prizes and a reading medal.
