We can feel the anticipation and excitement as Art Toronto quickly approaches. Exhibitors are crating artworks, speakers are prepping for talks and tours, magazines are being shipped for our Publication Lounge, artists are preparing for their PROJECT installations and art lovers of all kinds are purchasing advance tickets.

Meet California-based curators Glen Helfand (Associate Professor at California College of the Arts, San Francisco, independent writer and curator based in Oakland, California) and Kim Nguyen (Curator and Head of Programs at the CCA Wattis Institute, San Francisco). Hear them chat about this year's FOCUS: California including the exhibition, INDOOR/OUTDOOR.

This year Art Toronto highlights important Canadian artworks created before 1968 which are showcased at galleries who exhibit historic and secondary market work at the fair. Look for this logo which designates specific artworks which are included in this highlight.

The official opening of Art Toronto is a unique and important benefit gala for the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO). Last year, we welcomed more than 2300 guests and raised over $500,000 in support of AGO exhibitions, programming and artwork acquisitions.

Art Toronto Opening Night offers guests exclusive access to view and purchase works at the fair before it opens to the public.
