Dentistry Homecoming Cocktail this Friday

It’s Homecoming this weekend and to kick things off, the Faculty is hosting a Cocktail on Friday evening, October 28th (open to all members of our Faculty). Dean Allison will be present as well as alumni from near and far, many of whom will be celebrating special class reunions. Finish off your week in good company and join us at 2001 McGill College Avenue, Suite 500 at 5pm (event ends at 6:30pm) Free RSVP here

Do good & Feel good! Yoga for Centraide

To raise funds as part of the McGill Centraide Campaign, some yoga classes will be offered in the Faculty for the next two weeks as of Nov.1st. Valerie Khayat (RYT/200, IKYTA) will be offering Kundalini Yoga & live music meditation on Tuesdays and Nicolas Drolet (Lyn St-Roch Center) will be teaching Power Yoga on Thursdays from noon until 1pm. 

OPEN TO ALL (beginners welcome!) participation by donation (minimum of 5$). Come have a “zen” pause during your day and help raise money for a good cause. Classes will take place in Room 102 (except on November 8th -in Room 547)

Why are 7 Million Canadians at Greater Risk of Chronic Disease? 

On November 24th McGill Principal Suzanne Fortier and Dean Allison will be hosting a panel of experts discussing the growing body of evidence linking dental diseases to general health conditions and the barriers facing the estimated seven million Canadians who are unable to access dental care.
