Dentistry for the Neurodiverse

At the Oral Health Clinic for Neurodevelopmental Diversity, Dr. Chantal Czerednikow uses techniques such as music therapy, patient-guided sensory integration and more to help patients with special needs during treatment. As a dedicated instructor and leading clinician in the community, Dr. Czerednikow has received the McGill Alumni Association's James G. Wright Award.

The first "Applied Qualitative Health Research" course in the Faculty of Dentistry was a great success. Despite being online and across multiple time zones, the course ended in smiles.

Recognizing Staff Milestone years

One of the Faculty of Dentistry's greatest strengths remains its faculty and staff - through their dedication, passion, and willingness to give back, they continue to inspire members in the Faculty and at large. This year, the Faculty wishes to celebrate the service milestone years of staff members that have been with us for 15 years and more, in addition to expressing our best wishes to those retiring.

The McGill Dental Inclusion Program

The McGill Dental Inclusion Program (MDIP) is a non-profit mentorship program lead by the students of the Faculty of Dentistry and is aimed towards students from marginalized populations (Black, Indigenous, low SES, other visible minorities). Its mission is to inspire, motivate, and encourage students from underrepresented populations to pursue the Dental Program at McGill. The program is working under the supervision of the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion (EDI) Committee at the Faculty of Dentistry and in collaboration with other programs that share similar goals. The recruitment process of the mentors will start soon.

The Perfect Gift: Annual Student Olive Oil Sale Fundraiser

Given Cleaning Nights could not happen this year, the Class of 2021 has decided to do the next best thing: sell gourmet olive oil!

These gourmet olive oil bottles are being sold for $25 and e-transfers can be sent to dannyhmkim@gmail.com. Once the payment is submitted, you may grab a bottle located at Ann Gage's desk (2nd floor, clinic)! Given COVID restrictions, we prefer online payments; however, if cash is easier, we will gladly accept that too. Don’t wait too long - bottles are going away fast! The last date to buy this perfect gift is Friday, December 18th.
