The Schulich Library will be closing and will be inaccessible to all users as of May 15th, 2019. Librarians, staff and collections will be moving to the McLennan Library for the duration of the construction, but it is important to note that users will have limited access to certain materials this coming spring and summer. Users looking to take out materials from the Schulich Collection are asked to do so before May 15, 2019.

Library catalogue system upgrade

Last summer, McGill Library upgraded the existing WorldCat Local online catalogue and search tool to its successor WorldCat Discovery (the main search box currently on the library homepage). The final stage of the upgrade currently underway will amalgamate all back-end applications needed to manage a library, including acquisitions, library accounts, etc. As a result of this single system implementation, the classic catalogue will no longer be available as of May 1, 2019. All materials in the classic catalogue are available in WorldCat Discovery.
