Biologist and Nisga’a Nation member Dr. Andrea Reid will be the principal investigator at UBC’s new Centre for Indigenous Fisheries. The centre will support the management of aquatic ecosystems and fisheries in Canada and beyond by combining Indigenous knowledge systems and modern science.
