The MSA Board works to represent Mohawk students throughout the year on a federal, provincial, and community level. The Board of Governors' Student Governor has many responsibilities that can be summed up as working to help enforce the College’s vision.
Five Reasons You Should Get Involved:
These Boards will help you build and hone your skill sets.
You’ll gain professional experience.
You’ll build life-long friendships.
Either Board will help make the transition into the workforce after college easier.
It’s a great way to stay involved with the MSA if you already are.
Nominations for the MSA 2021/2022 Board of Directors and College Board of Governors officially open on Jan. 25, 2021!
The action at the MSA doesn’t stop at elections this month. The Events team is working to help change the conversation surrounding mental health, and health in general, with their SICKBOY event. What is SICKBOY? It’s a podcast that focuses on de-stigmatizing illnesses, living with a fatal disease, changing the conversation, and building a movement.
While the topics may be serious, the hosts use their positive and hilarious personalities to keep the conversation motivating and inspiring!
The podcast is virtually coming to the MSA on Jan. 28, 2021! Don’t miss out on this powerful event.
