Boasting an extensive career in the beauty industry, Borg began doing makeup at the age of 15, and attended school for makeup and aesthetics at the age of 17. By the age of 19, Borg was working at the first elite Yorkville salon in Toronto, eventually taking over all shareholding. Since 2003, Borg has amassed 11 makeup & makeup-based awards with TONI&GUY, and has been a finalist every year entered. Her expertise in makeup and aesthetics has contributed to the success of her new line, Clarissa Borg, with continuous expansion.
"This line is a natural extension to my comprehensive background of almost 3 decades in the beauty & hair industry, " says industry vet Borg. "It made perfect sense to start a cosmetic company, and with my combined expertise working in the dance/stage world, I am excited to share my own line of beautiful lipsticks and liners to the world!"
Clarissa Borg Cosmetics currently offers two stunning cruelty free collections: The Lip Collection, and the Stage Collection. About: Clarissa Borg Cosmetics was established in October of 2018 by Clarissa Borg and business partner, Maurizio Bruno. Bonding over their extensive business experience and creative backgrounds, as well as recent bouts of personal strife, Borg and Bruno created Clarissa Borg Cosmetics just three weeks after their initial introduction. Maurizio worked as a hairdresser, whom later left the field to begin other business ventures.
