Grange of Prince Edward County combines the beauty of the vineyard, the timeless art of winemaking, and the passion of two highly competent businesswomen to create a truly exquisite wine experience

At its centre, Grange of Prince Edward County is based on the vision of two highly knowledgeable women who have a passion for beauty, nature and top-quality wine.  "We believe that winemaking is a powerful connection to time and place.  Be firmly rooted wherever you are and let your wine be alive with what pushes and pulls you. And make time to enjoy a bottle of great wine with people who make your heart sing" - Caroline Granger.

Warm up from the cold with fully flavoured and warming wines such as Grange of Prince Edward County's Almanac, a real farm-grown wine available in 120 LCBO locations across the province; from Windsor to Thunder Bay to Cornwall.  Almanac Red goes wonderfully with braised meats, wood fire pizza, rich cheese, charcuterie and roasted eggplant as it has notes of cherry and plum with a smokey, spicy finish.  Red wine not your thing?  Enter Almanac White, a beautifully light and crisp white wine with notes of yellow apple and orchard fruits.  This wine pares perfectly with grilled seafood, BBQ pork, mushroom risotto and thai curries.

Grange of Prince Edward County offers tours of their gorgeous estates while explaining their beautiful process of wine making.  For $15 a person, you can learn more about the wine you love while enjoying a taste test in the vineyard itself.  You will also be shown a sneak peak into their processing room where you can take in the experience of exploring a traditional wine cellar.  Booking information can be found here.

About: Grange of Prince Edward County is a mother daughter run winery in the heart of Prince Edward County.  The focus is to produce 100% estate grown wines that are truly expressive of the winery terroir.

Caroline Granger found herself back on her family farm, three small kids in tow looking to rejuvenate her life.  Her parents couldn't manage the farm anymore and so it fell to Caroline to pick up the slack.  And that she did and more.  She transformed the sleepy farm into a vineyard in 2001 and opened her winery in 2004.

Maggie Belcastro grew up on the farm where she now finds herself growing grapes and making wine alongside her mother.  Maggie loves tending the vines and watching them grow.  Seeing the same vineyards mature and thrive over nearly 20 years has been an incredible experience.

At the Grange Caroline and Maggie pride themselves in producing estate-grown, Prince Edward County wine.  They grew up on this farm and it is the reason they are here producing wine; as a result Caroline and Maggie want the farm to be the focus and celebration of their production.
