A message from Campus Life & Engagement, the one office dedicated to new McGill students.

Dear Campus Life & Engage,

Welcome back to the FY5! We hope that you had a relaxing study break. This week, you can find out about our Frosh and Orientation Applications, virtual job shadows, and McGill’s bicentennial. Enjoy!

When can I make a request for the Additional S/U option for Winter 2021?

For the Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 terms, students can take up to six credits to be graded as Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory (S/U). Under the Additional S/U Option, these credits may go towards elective, complementary, or required courses (Faculty regulations permitting).

For Winter 2021 courses, students must fill out a request for that will be posted online on April 14. The deadline to submit S/U requests is May 20.

We hope you have a great weekend! Remember that Campus Life & Engagement is here to help you if you have any questions during your first year—or any year after!

Best,

Gilbert Lin
