Hi Campus Life & Engage!

Taking care of yourself is essential to your success as a graduate student! McGill has lots of resources dedicated to supporting your mental, physical, and spiritual well-being! For more in-depth information on the resources and support networks available to you, check out the GradLife Orientation "Health and Wellness" module on myCourses.

Take Note!

1️⃣ The Student Wellness Hub is your one-stop shop for on-campus health and wellness! They offer physical and mental health services, workshops and peer support groups at both the downtown and Macdonald campuses.

2️⃣ Local Wellness Advisors (LWAs) are trained clinicians who deliver tailored wellness programming to students! The designated Graduate LWA is available to discuss your unique situation and to refer you to whatever resources you might need!

3️⃣ Students Helping Students is McGill’s hub for peer support and peer mentorship programs! Check out their website and learn about the many networks that exist to support all students, students of specific programs, and students of specific populations.

4️⃣ If you'd like to check out the health resources at your own pace, you can also browse the Student Wellness Hub’s Self-Help page!

Their events and support are for all students, of any faith or religious denomination, as well as students with no religious affiliation.

📝 Black Community Resource Centre (BCRC) Survey

The BCRC is a growing, resource-based organization that provides professional support to organizations and individuals in need. Help them understand the state of well-being of Quebec’s Black community by participating in the 2021 Black Community Vitality Survey in English or French! For more information about the survey, visit their website or contact McGill's Black Student Liaison at with any questions.

Both McGill students in Quebec and abroad have access to the Keep.meSAFE program—a free, confidential and secure online mental health counselling service. Download the MySSP app for Apple iOS or Android!

McGill University is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee (hoh-DEE-noh-SHoh-nee) and Anishinabeg (Ah-nish-ih-nah'-bey) nations. McGill honours, recognizes and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we meet today.
