Summer golf lessons available

 

Join UBCO Recreation for golf lessons at the Okanagan Golf Club this summer.

 

Group lessons are a great way to learn all aspects of the game with friends in a fun and relaxing environment. Lessons include four, one-hour sessions on Monday nights.

Advanced Research Computing is hosting an introduction to databases workshop on June 27.

 

In this workshop, attendees will be provided with an overview of databases and then use a case study to demonstrate how to build a relational database from scratch, interact with the database and perform analytics.

Murray Forbes is in his 70s, but has always wanted to go back to school to earn an engineering degree. When he started his studies at UBCO, he frequently mentioned that being surrounded by young people was one of the greatest perks of being a mature student.
