Call for art submissions: 2022 UBC Okanagan colouring book


The Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies along with alumni UBC are seeking art submissions for Colour My UBCO 2022.


Students, faculty, staff and alumni artists of all levels are invited to submit original work for a colouring book page in any style by July 20.

New Positive Space course


The new Positive Space: Foundations course is a resource hub for promoting and practising inclusivity towards sexual and gender diversity.


Learn about amatonormativity, what to do if you misgender a friend and how you can engage in respectful interactions related to names, pronouns and inclusive language.

Aug. 23 to April 20: Teaching development program for new faculty


This flexible 10-month program helps those who are new to teaching at UBCO, faculty members transitioning to a new appointment as well as sessional faculty members.


Participants will build a foundation for teaching careers as well as professional development opportunities focused on teaching practices. Apply by August 23, 2022.

UBCO Testing Services pilot program launched


Learning Services and the Disability Resource Centre (DRC) will be piloting a program in 2022/23 that will expand the level of support for invigilation at UBC Okanagan.


The DRC has extensive experience in providing invigilation services for students who qualify for alternate exam formats and has worked closely with faculty regarding the invigilation of online and in-person exams.
