The Only Constant is Change

Greetings School of Continuing Studies (SCS) community! We hope that you are enjoying your summer here in Montreal and around the globe. It has certainly been a time of consistent transitions and seemingly, that constant flux is one of the only things that we could count on these days. Change, and the uncertainty that accompanies it, can be draining and demotivating. We at Career Advising and Transition Services (CATS) are currently developing a virtual career summit that is designed to motivate, inspire and spark action. The third edition of PowerSkills will take place from August 4-7, and registration opens soon. Keep an eye on the PowerSkills website for updates and exciting speaker announcements. Until then, we hope that you have plenty of opportunity for rest and relaxation.

In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us at cats@mcgill.ca, or connect with us on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.” — John Lubbock
