Welcome To The CATS Corner

We’re in this Together!

The current epidemic can feel extremely isolating. While we are not all in the same boat, as we are dealing with our individual challenges, we are in this together! One way to feel connected while moving forward with your goals, is to participation in our newly launched mentoring program! Whether you participate as a mentor, a mentee or both, the mentoring program offers opportunities for reflection, dialogue and upskilling. We know that many of you are in the midst of a career transition and the mentoring program can facilitate this process. Speaking of transitions, our Professional Transition Workshop Series begins on October 15 (registration and additional details below). You don’t have to face the uncertainty of a career transition alone! Our workshop series will ensure that you are well accompanied on your career transition journey! These are just a few of several career-related options that you may want to consider. Join us!

There are other ways to get social too! Email us at cats@mcgill.ca or connect with us on Facebook, Instagramand LinkedIn!

Virtually yours,

SCS Mentoring Program Launched!

On September 24, the School of Continuing Studies officially launched SCS Connect, the new networking and mentoring program powered by Ten Thousand Coffees and sponsored by RBC Future Launch. SCS Alumnae Andrea Courey (Award winning entrepreneur, author, course lecturer and recipient of a McGill Dobson Fellow) and Paula Keays (former President of McKesson Canada), shared their perspectives on mentoring and how it was key to their personal and professional development and overall success.

If you haven’t already registered for networking and mentoring on SCS Connect, consider doing it soon. You have nothing to lose and the list of what you have to gain is limitless! Like with everything else, you drive the potential benefits based on your efforts, consistency and focus.

Join this community of SCS students, alumni, faculty and staff, corporate partners and the wider community, and initiate inspiring career conversations and action!
