SACS on 21st


Your favourite little shop inside the Seniors' Activity Centre (SAC) is a collection of your generous donations with all sale proceeds going to the SAC. The shop is open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.


We welcome your gently used home décor items, small furniture, glassware, gift items, and children’s toys and books. Donations can be dropped off daily at the shop or SAC front desk Monday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. We would also be pleased to assist with downsizing and pick-up of small furniture.





Virtual programs


Take advantage of a diverse collection of free online programming available to seniors. The program listings are assembled by Ridge Meadows Seniors Society and South Granville Seniors Centre. Explore and enjoy all that online programming has to offer from the comfort of your living room!

Massages are back!


Enjoy a 45-minute massage performed by Langara College students. Register for your spot as space is limited. Arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. No ICBC claims.

BCIT student nurses


Student nurses will be at the Seniors’ Activity Centre on Tuesday, May 31 and Wednesday, June 1 to do blood pressure checks and oxygen level checks. The nurses will be stationed in the hall, near the café. Come support the student nurses and ask any questions you may have.

National Volunteer Appreciation Week: April 24–30


Did you volunteer in 2021? Four-punch passes will be available for volunteers who have contributed hours since May 2021.


Obtain your volunteer pass during the week of April 24 to 30 by registering using activity code 118113. This is a new code, and not the one listed in the Scene Magazine. Please register in person and pick up your card in person at the West Vancouver Community Centre, Gleneagles Community Centre, or Seniors’ Activity Centre front desks.
