Summer facility closure


The seniors' centre will be closed from August 29 to September 5 for our annual facility maintenance.

The cafeteria will be closed but take-out food service will be available in the cafeteria Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Registration for programs starting in August is now open.


Save the date: Registration for general fall programs (September to December) starts August 17, and registration for skating, gymnastics, and Swimming Fall Term 1 starts August 24.





Seniors’ Activity Centre donations made easy!

Donate to SACs on 21st Gift Shop


We welcome donations of gently used home décor items, china, pictures, children’s toys and books, jewelry, and small furniture. Your treasures can be dropped off at the centre Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. We can also assist with downsizing and pick-up of small furniture.


Your favourite little shop inside the Seniors' Activity Centre (SAC) is a collection of your generous donations with all sale proceeds going to the SAC.

Electronic device donations


Do you have a cell phone or tablet you no longer use?

The Seniors’ Activity Centre is looking for used phones/tablets to give to West Vancouver seniors in need. When dropping off your device, please have it set to factory reset or provide the passcode to the device. Staff will ensure all information is cleared before giving your device to a senior.

  • Baker support (8–10 a.m.)

  • Busser (11 a.m.–2 p.m.)
  • Closer (1–3 p.m.)
  • Baristas (8:30–11 a.m., 11 a.m.–1:30 p.m., 1:30–3:30 p.m.)

Feed the Need Intergenerational Market Make-It Workshops


Learn new arts and crafts and fundraise for a great cause in these free workshops! Prepare and sell unique artisan merchandise to raise funds for Feed the Need, a meal security program for local seniors.

Feed the Need Intergenerational Market Planning Committee


Are you a current volunteer looking to plan and lead fun arts workshops or markets? Collaborate with youth and peers to bring Make-It Workshops and an intergenerational holiday market to life.
