LIBRARY SERVICE UPDATE

 

West Vancouver Memorial Library is now open seven days a week!

 

Visit us Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Please make an appointment to use a public computer. Due to reduced occupancy, meeting rooms, study space, and seating are not available at this time. Dedicated service hours for the elderly and most vulnerable are on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m.

NEW PUBLIC ART INSTALLATION COMING SOON TO WEST VANCOUVER COMMUNITY CENTRE

 

North Shore artist Brent Comber is creating the large-scale artwork—Baby will be nine feet tall and Mama will be a towering 15 feet tall. Check the website for ongoing photos and video of Brent's progress before installation this summer.

VIRTUAL WEST COAST MODERN HOME TOUR

 

Early bird tickets are now available for the upcoming Virtual West Coast Modern Home Tour, presented by British Pacific Properties Limited! This year's fundraiser will be presented as an hour-long film, which will be distributed as a link to all ticket holders. Join and explore the history and significance of five private West Vancouver homes, all from the safety of your own home. Details about the homes will be released in late May.

SILK PURSE ARTS CENTRE

 

The West Vancouver Community Arts Council is extending the Silk Purse Arts Centre Gallery hours. Beginning Thursday, April 8, you can visit the gallery and Art Box Gift Shop Thursday to Saturday from 12 to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m.
