LIBRARY SERVICE UPDATE

 

Visit the library from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday for browsing or make an appointment to use a public computer. Due to reduced occupancy, meeting rooms, study space, and seating are not available at this time. Dedicated service hours for the elderly and most vulnerable are on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m.

 

Holiday hours: The library facility and LibraryConnect phone, chat, and email service will be closed on Saturday, October 10 through Monday, October 12 for Thanksgiving, and on Wednesday, November 11 for Remembrance Day.

The West Vancouver Community Arts Council is inviting you to sell your work in their online Holiday Market from November 9 to December 19. The council is looking for finely handcrafted locally made work such as jewelry, fashion accessories, home décor, and gourmet and seasonal items.

CALL TO ARTISTS – THE ART OF RESILIENCE VIRTUAL EXHIBITION

 

Deadline: Friday, November 6 by 4 p.m.

 

Share your work in a dynamic virtual exhibition presented by the West Vancouver Community Arts Council from November 17 to January 8. Submission is open to artwork in any medium that explores the theme of resilience. You can submit your submissions starting Monday, October 12.
