Support for the Operation, Maintenance, Replacement, Repair or Upgrade of Research Equipment

Research Facility Support Grants offer support for up to one year and $50,000 to enhance UBC research and training at UBC Vancouver and affiliated hospital sites. Applications due Oct. 1.


Develop Innovative, Impactful and Collaborative ‘Living Lab’ Projects on Campus
UBC's Campus as a Living Lab Fund Competition offers faculty and staff an opportunity to incubate, test, and demonstrate innovative research ideas in a real-world setting. Application deadline Nov. 12.



Support Community Partners to Engage with UBC Research

The Community-University Engagement Support (CUES) fund supports eligible community organizations in British Columbia to build partnerships and pursue shared projects with faculty, staff and students at UBC. Notice of Intent deadline Oct. 14.


Address Health Inequities through Interdisciplinary and Cross-Faculty Collaborations

The Health Innovation Funding Investment Awards offer up to $25,000 to faculty members at UBC Vancouver and Okanagan who are collaborating across faculties, disciplines, and campuses to develop, pursue, or translate knowledge from innovative health-related research. Proposals due Oct. 31.


Apply for Azure Credits to Support Cloud Computing Projects
Advanced Research Computing (ARC) invites research projects in need of cloud computing resources to apply to access up to 25,000 USD in Microsoft Azure credits, valid until June 30, 2022.

Government of Canada Announces Over $3.5M in Support for UBC's BioProducts Institute
