Nominate a Health Educator, Professional or Partner for Contributions to Health Education and Practice

Nominations are open for UBC Health's 2021 awards and scholarships recognizing academic and research excellence in health disciplines. Competitions close Dec. 15.

 

Recognize an Emeritus Professor for Innovative Research, Artistic Creation or Application

The Award of Excellence in Innovative and Creative Endeavors from the UBC Emeritus College recognizes UBC emeriti for excellence in innovative research, artistic creation or new applications of previous research since attaining emeritus status. Nominations due Feb. 15, 2022.

 

Honour UBC Emeriti for Distinguished Service

NSERC's Alliance Missions grants will offer $100-500k for research projects with non-academic organizations to address critical science and technology challenges that have emerged as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as to take advantage of new opportunities. Applications due Nov. 30.

Early-Career Researchers: Build Your Research Program

The 2022 Scholar Program offers five-year awards to support researchers who are within five years from the start of their first appointment as independent investigators. Letter of intent Dec. 6, Full application Jan. 31, 2022.

 

Support Health-Research Trainees to Advance Their Careers

Recent PhD graduates or health professionals eligible for fellowships (or equivalent) are eligible to apply for MSFHR’s Research Trainee Program in support of protected time for health research activities. Letter of intent due Dec. 6., Full application due Feb. 14, 2022.

SSHRC Insight Development Grant Writing Bootcamps
