Canada's tri-council research funding agencies have earmarked $2.25-million to fund activities and research that support vaccine confidence in Canada. Application deadline Apr. 5.

CIHR invites the health research community, particularly members of Indigenous and racialized communities, to participate in an open dialogue about specific measures the agency can implement to address systemic barriers in their funding system.

UBC Projects Receive Funding for Research Infrastructure

Nine projects led by UBC researchers have been awarded $28.3m in funding through the Canada Foundation for Innovation’s 2020 Innovation Fund. UBC researchers are also collaborators on seven projects led by other institutions.


MSFHR Funds Knowledge Translation Activities for 17 Teams led by UBC Researchers

Eight teams received funding through the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research’s Convening & Collaborating (C2) Program and nine teams were awarded funds through the Reach Program.


Province Partners with Interior Universities for COVID-19 Research Solutions

The BC Ministry of Health funded five collaborative research projects through the Interior University Research Coalition to understand the harmful effects of COVID-19 and mitigate its impact on communities across the province.
