GBC #WhyNotMe Entrepreneur Spotlight

George Brown College

Philip Vadley Edward Correya, C0-Founder & CEO, Pumpkin Kart

As we enter the month of Global Entrepreneurship Week and celebrate the fantastic George Brown College entrepreneur community, we are so proud to this month spotlight Philip Correya, Co-Founder & CEO of Pumpkin Kart, an incredible tech start-up dedicated to ethnic food.

As a proud immigrant to Canada, Philip fell in love with his adopted country but like so many newcomers he missed the cuisines of his birth country. Philip created Pumpkin Kart to help people continue to share great food from their cultural backgrounds.

What is one piece of advice you would give to aspiring entrepreneurs?

“Be resilient. Be ready to face rejections.” Philip Vadley Edward Correya
