startGBC Entrepreneurship Discovery Summer Camp


startGBC Summer Camp connects George Brown College students and alumni looking to build a business or social enterprise – with advisors who offer valuable guidance. So, if you are a GBC student or alumni member looking to build a business or social enterprise, then join us for this free 1-week intensive program. The camp will operate between 9:30 a.m. & 4:30 p.m., Monday, August 23, 2020, to Friday, August 27, 2021.

startGBC WIL | Students Requiring Co-op Placement

startGBC Work Integrated Learning Entrepreneurship Program might be the solution for you if you have considered starting your own business and are looking for an alternative work-integrated learning experience (co-op placement). Starting on Sep 14, 2021, we have a 12-week program that begins with two, 3-hour workshop sessions per week for the first 6-weeks.

Open Door 2021

Open Door projects demonstrate innovation and support experimentation and risk-taking. The program supports projects that invest in community partnerships, collaborative leadership, and the sharing of knowledge.
For 2021, Open Door will support Toronto arts organizations in their broad ranging plans to transition, transform and thrive in response to an on-going global pandemic.

Dragons' Den Auditions

With everyone’s health in mind, Dragon's Den is replacing in-person auditions with scheduled virtual auditions through video calls or phone calls. Your application will be saved for a future season, and producers will only contact those who are selected to move on to a virtual audition.

Workplace One Alliance Grant


Workplace One Alliance Grant

The Workplace One Alliance Grant will award a BIPOC-owned company a 6-month membership at one of the work centres, providing a positive, professional and well-serviced office space and community for the recipient. We will work together with recipients to promote and encourage their unique company’s growth and development while promoting equality and visibility of people of colour as well as other vulnerable populations. This will be an annual, ongoing grant program.
