Homewood Health is launching an enhanced online experience for the Member Assistance Program (MAP). The MAP is a comprehensive, confidential and arm’s-length support service, made available to all members of the Law Society through funding from the Law Society of Ontario and LAWPRO. Services are aimed at supporting the mental health and wellbeing of the membership and their families.

The newly launched website is custom-tailored to meet the needs of the legal profession, whether paralegal, legal student, judge or lawyer. The site also contains many resources designed to help member’s families, ranging from self-guided courses to expert-generated content, to e-counselling.

• Enhanced search and organization features, as well as user-preference intelligence, enabling content of interest to be presented to users based on what they have used previously
• Access to additional online tools and services not currently available
• i-Volve, which is an online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy tool, capable of supporting those managing mental health concerns such as depression and anxiety
• Availability of “e-Ap”, which gives users access to the same level of content and support from a mobile device, and allows even easier and convenient contact with Homewood’s professional staff
